Angulo should go back to his original trainer.

    After taking a long rest.

Yeah, I'm surprised how quickly he gassed out after round 1. At one point you could have timed his punches with a sun dial they were coming so slow.

Because he is a not so bright brawler instead of a smart boxer. Brawlers think damage not discipline.

Kirkland took Jap boy lightly. Angulo may have taken Kirkland lightly because he didn't throw that many punches. In addition, when Angulo got knocked down in the first, his legs never fully recovered.

Angulo thought Kirkland was going down, but Kirkland didn't and clearly Angulo wasn't conditioned for 12 rounds.

That should have been PPV, maybe PPV needs to be retrospective. If you see a good fight then you pay afterwards. Those two deserved it. Particularly Angulo who probably won't be the same fighter ever again.

I think Kirkland deserves full credit for a very good win. I also think he showed that his chin is much better than the Ishida fight made it look.

However, watching Angulo try to finish when he had James in trouble was pathetic. He was throwing punches like a mad man, but not landing much of anything. Had he stayed calm and picked his shots he probably would have scored a first round KO.
