I like Molina, I'm Mexican and all, but if you saw Lara take a lot of punches from Molina, you were watching the wrong fight. Lara lost that fight because he was lethargic, but even so, Molina very very rarely touched or even grazed Lara's face. You know... "render unto Ceasar..."

Lara vs Kirkland = Lara by KO or a lopsided UD after a thorough boxing clinic.

I don't know what fight you saw but Molina was able to get inside Lara regularly in the 34d round and really worked the body well. Paul Williams was also able to get inside on Lara at will and land occasionally with his wide ass rights.

This leads me to beleive Kirkland will be able to get inside and will be able to land.

I think Lara would embarrass Kirkland folks. Angulo is a sitting bull waiting to be hit. Lara is a moving boxer-puncher that understands angles and spacing. Stop thinking that these hard punchers with 0 boxing skills are so good. You're fooling yourself if you think this is a good match-up for Kirkland.

You definitely need to watch the Molina fight again. Anyway, both Molina and Williams are twice better than Kirkland. Lara by boxing clinic.

Some people will never understand styles make fights. You may as well stop while you are ahead. He obviously likes wild swinging unpolished brawlers, as opposed to slick boxers who actually rely on their skills.

You do know that punches caught by the gloves are not labeled as landed punches.

You do know punches that are caught on the head are landed punches right?

Are you saying that P-Will landed no punches? I would say he landed plenty, they were simply not as effective as Lara, even Kellerman noted that P-Will was landing shots.

Stylewise Kirkland has a better shot of beating the Ginger, than he would have at beating Lara.

Lara is too skilled, and accurate for Kirkland. It'd be target practice for the Cuban.

Lara landed 224/530 to PWill's 200/1080. I think a 6' fighter with fast hands and aggressiveness can land punches on anyone. Lara's slickness allowed him to escape 80% of them.

I'd like to see a Kirkland/Lara fight, but who the **** does Lara think he is? He has a whopping 17 fights, he's coming off a draw followed by a loss, and Grady Brewer was probably his best win. He runs his mouth way to much, and should be real careful what he asks for.
