Cotto never had a good relationship with his uncle.

I think he was always hoping for a way out.

 

Thomas Dulorme is the best out of all the prospects but he is not puertorican by blood. Doesnt matter tho, he always reps PR. Im not really feeling Cruz and I never looked at Juanma as the next best thing. Miguel is def the last of the Greats from PR and its probably going to be a while until another true successor comes along.

 

As for the highlighted part, I feel the same way......Its gonna be awhile for us Puerto Ricans on the Island or Stateside get to root for an elite when Cotto retires.

I like Thomas Dulorme but he isn't Puerto Rican by blood in the same sense that Tito and Cotto are so his fanfare may not be the same but he could become elite though.

Uh...just for info, just because one is Mexican doesn't mean all Mexicans are 5'4". I'm 6'1", and a couple of my friends hover around 6'2-6'5". My ex's brother was 6'7". So one shouldn't stereotype based on limited interaction with another race. :tong

Dulorme looks to a good up and ocming prospect. He will have plenty of time to grow and continue learning.
