floyd "don't put words into my mouth" mayweather certainly has a character of an insecure 12 year old kid.

Manny. Its very rare that a person would become successful in the situations he grew up in. Ortiz always mentions how he "grew up with nothing" but Manny live in a third world country. I admire Manny for not becoming a statistic.

:huh A person's character isn't defined by their charisma or how interesting they come across as.

given floyd's talent and all the ups he had, the path he has taken is easier, his achievements are as expected. compare that to pac's, it looks like floyd was on a perpetual vacation.

I admire both Floyd and Manny's skils for different reasons. I admire Floyd for his defensive genius and his ability to EASILY outbox and humiliate his opponents enroute to impressive decision victories. And I admire Manny for his warrior mentally and willingness to come forward and pressure you. Manny's best fights are some of the most entertaining Ive seen. They're two different fighters so I admire both their skills.

As far as their character goes I really could care less. Im a Mayweather fan, and most Mayweather fans including myself tend to be grown men/adults who arent looking for boxers to be our role model. Im in my 20's, I do not need an athlete to be my role model. I passed that phase years ago. What that guy (Floyd) do outside the ring is a life of its own that I barely follow or pay attention to. As far as Manny goes, I dont follow his outside the ring **** either. Like I said, Im a grown man and I dont need role models I need boxers who entertain me.

"admire more" this means you have to admire one of them at least a bit ... neither is assuming you don't admire both of them at all which is hardly unbelievable but also opens a question: why are you posting here at all?

    Floyd

He's true to himself and shows flaws outside the ring like a normal person does.
He makes up for that in the ring.

Manny's image is fake cause nobody living in this world rich or poor is perfect but that's what he portrays such a shame his fight record doesn't.

And most of his recent "accomplishments" are merit to catchweights and ass kissing. Fighter of the Decade will always belong to Floyd any real boxing fan knows this.
