Ray Leonard would have destroyed PacMan and Mayweather?

Surely enough after checking the polls it's all the general forum idiots that pick Pac and mayweather to beat Leonard.

It really pisses me off when people cling to most of the fighters of the past and think they would destroy the great of today........ However Sugar Ray Leonard was one of the exceptions. He would kick some serious ass in todays welterweight division, May and Pac included.

moreover fighters are rarely honest about those things. I mean I read always the ring coloumn 'the best I faced'. Fighters always says that the best guys they have fought are the guys that they've beaten. It's fighters pride

I would have to class Duran in there too.

Actually most of the guys from that era. They were of a breed where the money, attention, peer skill, and matchmaking were at the zenith. Honestly I don't think many of the names of today would have been more than journeymen in that era.

No one does that. For the record I have conceded that I think Mayweather would beat Arguello. I don't think Arguello would hit Mayweather cleanly enough to KO him and that's what he would need to do. People are just realistic.

He beats both at 147 with ease.

And remember, Duran, a natural 135 lber, beat a prime Leonard at 147 lbs.

Both of them at the same time? Absolutely.

Jokes aside, he will definitely take the victory.

Why does this even need to be said? The man was a BEAST. Defense, offense, power, durability, and indomitable will. Duran was literally the definition for pressure fighting.

Man... At some point you just realize who most of the fans of Pac are. Comments like the ones that made you write this "make sense" in their circles.

He would have an easier time against Pac because Pac likes to engage. Leonard was fast enough to counter when Pac opens up. Floyd on the other hand is more like a game of chess. You have to be sharp and thinking at all times to prevail against him. Leonard could of pulled it off, but **** wouldn't of been easy at all to do.

Mayweather Sr. was the first top 10 contender Leonard faced, the fight happened while Leonard was on the way up, the 1981 peak version of Leonard would have had something for Mayweather he wouldn't like. And Duran couldn't do anything with Leonard in the rematch; Pacquiao wouldn't be able to either.
