Lets say he wins 4+ rounds or even makes it extremely close again, will this affect your view on the mayweather vs pac potential fight outcome?
(Sorry for another pac/floyd thread, but its something I wanted to ask before the fight):thumbsup

Then Pac-Man didn't have any power pellets on board.

Not mine...I think even if Marquez does well, it means nothing in a potential Manny/Floyd fight.

I ask because a lot of people link mayweathers victory in tis fantasy match up with marquez giving pac hell twice and being a counterpuncher (eventhough different) like floyd. From them I ask do your views change if pac destroys marquez and looks improved or does it mean nothing on your original outcome?
If you base your pac victory on his improvements since 08 does a good marquez performance change your outcome?

Non bias fans already know Marquez is a totally different fighter than Mayweather Jr.

Marquez and Mayweather have two completely different styles. Marquez being competitive with Manny has no impact

No difference at all. Marquez takes punches to give punches. Completely different style from Floyd.

I'm a big Mayweather fan, and regardless of how the Marquez fight goes on Saturday, I really think it would have absolutely no bearing on how a Floyd/Manny fight would go. We've already seen guys that should have been blown out of the water give certain fighters problems. In reality, should Pacquiao destroy Marquez? Probably. Will he, maybe. I believe that Marquez and Mayweather have no fear of being hit by Pacquiao and that would give them a chance to win. I believe Clottey and Mosely were afraid of the power and therefore didn't even give themselves a chance to win. Margarito was not scared, but obviously didn't have what it takes to land enough quality shots to do anything. Cotto was ok for a few rounds, but was on the retreat for the final 60% or so of the fight.

Well theres many people that believes Pacquiao has greatly improved, and is alot better fighter than the one who fought Marquez in 04 and 08. I can't say, because most of Pac's opponents styles were made for him slower come forward opponents.

Pac should blow Marquez out the water(due to age, and more fragile chin), but imo Marquez is skilled enough, and if he fights intelligently on saturday, i think he might pull the upset. If Pac doesnt KO Marquez, then its a loss for Team Pac imo.

A boxer/counter puncher will always trouble Pac.

    to answer your question...No...

No it wouldnt change my view but the public and casual fans opinions may be altered.

I dont think pac fans (not all are *******s) will change there view, they'll say:

    1- JMM was roided
2- JMM had more time at the weight
3- Pac is getting older (floyd waiting for pac to get shot)
4- JMM is bad match-up for pac and the two fights gave jmm enough experience fighting pac to give him such problems.

Most of this may infact be true and im not bashing anyone I just feel these reasons will be given for a poor fight from pac or great fight from jmm.
