Poll above and leave your thoughts below.

    Question is:

    I like both fighters, personally.

Both guys have excellent punching power (especially Kirkland); both guys have some chin issues (especially Kirkland); neither fighter is regarded as a technical master.

    Alvarez is currently 38-0-1 [28]
    Kirkland is currently 30-1-0 [27]

    Who you got? :bbb

    I'll play.

IMO canelo takes this. Kirkland is a little to hyped at this point, chin is seriously questionable for a brawler like that. Canelo can crack, and I think if canelo puts him down he stays down.

I can see it either way, which is why I picked "I'm Not Sure Who Wins" in the poll.

Kirkland can be hit and hurt. On the other hand, the Canelo who fought Gomez looked like he could get beat by any decent contender.

It would be a great scrap!

I'm really on the fence about this one and was thinking about it because it's a real possibility.
I'm leaning towards soulless Saul... If I had to pick it would be him winning by KO (not TKO but completly out).

An elite Mexican fighter like Canelo would embarrass Kirkland.

Both are hype jobs, but Alvarez is only 20 years old which is pretty insane, he still have like 12-15 years left. So i pick Alvarez. Kirkland is way too hyped.

Kirkland has a shot at knocking Canelo right the **** out, but Kirkland will leave himself open to catching some seriously precise punches in return. Anything can happen in the ring. I also remember that Canelo was in trouble against Jose Miguel Cotto. He was bloated for that fight. If Kirkland clocks him, we could very well have a new champion. I pick; IDK.

I think Alvarez has more to his game than Kirkland has.
