If Wlad did open up which he wont his fights would be exiting, but he wont so they arnt........

I like Wlad as a man, but his fights are pointless.

Of course not. (even though it would be perfectly safe to do so).

Emanuel would spank his ass beet-red raw.

As wlad fans, how do you feel about most of his fights being dragged late?

Like you said he could finish it any time. Are you guys pleased he boxes his opponents 12 rounds or would you prefer him to go for the kill against overmatched opponents?

    - And you don't find a lot of Olympic-sized swimming pools in inner-city schools. Not hard to connect the dots.

Yes, that was the whole idea of taking Mormeck next -- he wants a highlight reel KO fairly early in the fight....

I'd like to see him step it up at times, ie, I thought he could have gone after Haye much harder in the second half of the fight. And he admitted he thinks he could have as well.

But a win is a win is a win. Winning ain't everything, it's the only thing....

He did blow Ray Austin out of the water in 2 rounds, he could take Mormeck out quickly

He did. I think Ray angered him. It's funny because Haye angered him more and Haye got a cold, methodical outclassing instead. You never know. I think he'll end it in 5-7 somewhere, still cautious but Mormeck will break down faster.

Was that his goal, his plan? Or was that just a realistic measure of the absolute **** that DK's last contender truly is?:D

Wladimir opened pretty aggressively in his rematch with Brewster, Peter and also in his fight with Thompson. It just so happened all three of those guys had really good chins and survived the early round assaults. Average heavyweights would have been gone in under three rounds.

This is going to be one of those title defenses that Wlad will probably get **** for taking 15-20 years from now, the same way that Louis gets **** for fighting Jack Roper. I don't see much point to this match except maybe to just stay busy.. Mormeck has no business challenging for the HW title.

And to add to the race/athlete comments, I think Native Americans (raised with their proper diet) are the best all around athletes. Of course, good luck finding a Native American today who has had not been raised on bleached flour, white sugar and beef.

Don't know, but he beat him with one hand too. Mormeck is a better boxer than Austin, though at least Austin was physically imposing. Mormeck should easily be smashed.

Edit: SHOULD. Will he? Well, yes. Quickly? Don't know, I hope so as a fan of Wlad.

    Nope he won't.
But he might accidentally stop Jean Marc early though...

He will lose to Jean Marc's younger brother of course.
