Khan eying Berto - Ortiz II winner

It's a mess. I was looking forward to Bailey v Berto and cannot believe HBO haven't approved it:-(

 

I've said it loads of times before.

I'm really not a Khan 'nut-hugger'. That's just the perception everyone's got of me around here.

I personal view for all the P4P stuff and I think Floyd great fighter, I don't see his record to being all that great if you really look at it.

His best wins were vs Corrales? Or Hatton?

Floyd has in my view has not beaten a true elite fighter to be a great.

Khan has way more flaws than Floyd and we see them, But Floyd has flaws too, habits as Roach will say.

I saw a non-cool, open at times, straight right happy Floyd vs Ortiz.

Now alot of stuff Floyd gets away with because fighters don't have speed to take the opening.

Why so much focus on speed from me????


What does fast speed do in fights?? Cut your opponents reaction time.

What's Floyd main weapon fast reactions/fast relexes.

My own view is Khan reach, and straight down the middle punching style will catch out Floyd's reaction time at times.

It's laws vs laws of nature, I feel Khan's style will give Floyd new problems and it will be a master piece of defence from Floyd to slip all them shots.

Question is how will Floyd react in the ring if this younger fighter keeps catching him?? He has never been there because you only get old once.

I still think Floyd will have to much ring IQ for Khan, but don't rule him out completely.

As I said bro, I hope you're right, but as of right now, I don't give Amir much of a shot.

Hopefully he'll improve substantially enough over the next few fights for us to believe Amir has a decent chance.

 

Belief is what gets you to the top, if you can't think you can do it, then you can't.

Mind is the most powerful thing..

 

Hopefully a combination of Khan improving and Floyd aging. :good

Ability and determination is what gets you to the top of your game.....If i keep believing that Kelly Brook is gonna come round our gaff and suck us of no questions asked, then I would want locking up in a padded room!

Khan really thinks he has Floyd's number, Roach makes him believe this.

 

The belt holders @147 barring Floyd and Manny obviously are not as good as Berto and Ortiz (providing Berto vacates) so a belt in this instance is pretty irrelevant , Floyd does not want to talk about Khan right now then , that's pretty obvious or that fight could be made immediatley after Peterson should Khan beat him

Ortiz / Berto 2 - Khan gets my vote , but somehow i just dont see it happening , what Khan claims he wants isnt always what Golden Boy and Khan have produced so im not holding my breath

I want a clash of the roses match up kell brook v khan. We already missed out of witter and hatton. Hope we don't miss out of this fight and it will be a good test for khan.

 

I've yet to see anyone come close to matching Khan in the ring when it comes to a 'boxing match', that's why I see it as a very competitive match vs Floyd.

He's beat boxers such as Pauli, Judah and Kotlenik more convincingly then other elite fighters.

Khan has flaws, but he is good at what he does and that's win rounds on points, in the end that's all that matter.

Floyd is on another level for sure, but Khan will go about his work the same way and try to win rounds on workrate, and if he can tally a early lead you never know.
