How did he look? Boxrec says he won on points and the guy has only been stopped once before... He came in at the 2nd lowest weight for him since being pro as well, a good sign, 20lbs lighter than he was against fury... Any weigh in pics/vids and any videos of the fight up yet?
His opponent was pretty game and obviously came to win but I think that Del was treating it more like a bit of a sparring session
He was very relaxed and like Smith said I imagine he just wanted the rounds in but it was still a very unimpressive preformance going 6 rounds with a guy with 43 losses
Found it on youtube, he looked pretty **** tbh, although seemed to be in cruise control tbh, content to get the rounds in, didn't really put much on his punches. Didn't think he looked that in shape either tbh, the weight was deceiving, he's got a few pounds to shift imo. Helenius'll beat him, not that I rate him that highly.
Sluggish to say the least, really doesn't seem to have to have the hunger(!) or work ethic to make it to the top.
Saying that, he's only been knocked out once in those 43 L's according to boxrec, the guy obviously got some chin/good survival skill
im gonna go against what everyone's said so far, and say it was a decent performance. he got a good workout against an opponent who was brought in at very short notice. i does'nt matter who many defeats he has, this guy has only been stopped once. ONCE. chisora will benefit from the rounds he got in. jeez, chisora gets stick for going the distance, can you imagine the stick del boy would have got if he'd have put this guy away in one?
He came in that light? that's a great sign but why couldn't he do that for his biggest fight against Fury...
