As for now yes. We'll see after the Super 6 to answer this one. He have no choice IMO. He just went too far and commited himself.

:good it would be a better fight then Ward-Froch IMO , You need to give this to Froch , all his fight are exiting!
Yes, but then, Froch's movement is somewhat poorer than Bute's. Johnson didn't expos himself simply because he was afraid of Bute's effective counterpunching. Watch the Bute - Andrade 2 fight, namely the first knockdown. Bute dropped Andrade with a clean short left hook. The mexican didn't even see that one coming. I fully agree that Bute hasn't fought the biggest names in the division so far - though that's not necessarily his fault, but I find rather amusing the idea that Bute is actually a bum with no skills whatsoever. It's like saying there's no earthquake while the ceiling is crashing down on you. The fact is S6 ruined the 168 in every sense of the word. Super Six is the reason - other than Bute's talent, why this man hasn't had a top fight yet. Either you admit that, or go ballistic and trash Bute for absolutely no reason on ESB forum whenever you see a thread bringing his name on the table - your choice. Lucian Bute has fought the best boxers available who wanted to fight him at that moment in time. I'm sure he wasn't and still is not afraid of anyone, as nobody in the smw division is head and shoulders above him. The romanian is now at about the same level with Ward and Froch and has the potential of exceeding them both. Neither Ward or Froch have, at the moment, the same skill as Bute, or are as complete as he is. Yes, they may be more experienced, they may be more versatile throughout a 12 round match - in the sense that the may deal better with the chances wich survene during the fight, but they aren't nowhere near L. Bute's class when it comes to pure talent. More simply put I like watching Bute more than I like watching Froch or Ward. To say Bute is overrated is just wrong. I mean, forget about the opposition for a moment and just look at what the guy does with his fists. He has power, fast hands, great movement, great arsenal of shots, at least one lethal weapon - upercut to the body (actually, what scared off Glenn so much), good height and long arms. Plus, he is quite unpredictable and inventive in the ring. The only things he lacks for now is the experience of a big fight. This being said, stand still guys. We will have Bute's big fight sometime soon. Until then, shalom. And yes, I'm a newbie too.
You thought Froch v AA and Froch v Johnson were exciting fights? Interesting fights, yes, showing Froch was more versatile and intelligent in the ring than given credit for, but hardly exciting. He'd fight a very cautious fight against Bute, much as he fought against Abraham. Still, much as I respect Ward, his style pretty much negates excitement, so Bute v Froch would be far more entertaining than Ward v Froch.
Fk all you haters who can't see that Bute is a talented fighter, and easily one of the best at 168! All you do is ***** and cry about the Andrade long count... You never mention how he made the rematch right away and knocked the guy out (1st guy to do so) Whats he gonna do? Go fight in Atlantic City in front of 2000 people, when he draws 16,000 at home every time? I'm not saying he's the best... But anybody who thinks this guy can't at least be competative with the likes of Kessler, Froch, and Ward is a fkn idiot and DONT KNOW **** ABOUT BOXING. btw, In case you cant read... All the top boxing experts agree with what I'm saying here.
Bute want's Froch in US for sure in England if it generates enough cash, the question is with so many choices and Bute being the most dangerous one, what will The Cobra want ?
Usually, Froch fights anyone. I like that about him. But at some point, Bute and Froch were respectively #1 and #2 in the IBF rankings. Bika was #3. A mandatory was scheduled, Bute accepted to fight Froch, but Froch refused. That's why the mandatory was against Bika instead. That's one of the only situations in boxing where a fighter clearly ducks another, because if they had both agreed, there is no way out of that fight. Since Bute got the eliminator in the end, it proves he agreed to the fight. Not saying Froch is a coward or that he's scared of Bute, but every fighter has a personal agenda. You can't expect a fighter to fight every fight you want him to. Sometimes what's good for the fan isn't good for the fighter at that point in time. Froch, Bute, Ward, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Martinez, they all do that.
Now-now. Please, do explain how exactly do you objectively rate the opposition of two or more boxers without any numeric rank system which takes into account the results of the fights according to some algorithm, be it the one on boxrec or any decent one (recall I invited you to propose at will any objective ranking system of your choice, i.e. not based on "I know better than you that A, B, C are top and X, Y, Z are crap", you didn't had any valid reply on that). Now, that's getting even more interesting since it happens to be I'm a Physicist and what you're saying makes very little sense to me. Please, indicate what exactly singles out the year 2012 from the point of view of Astrophysics and eventually one or two scientifical peer-reviewed papers which support your claim. As a scientist you will obviously be able to understand the reasons to substantiate crystal clear this kind of allegations (that you're arguing at a mindboggingly lower level when dealing with boxing is another business).
