what is your prediction and how will the fight be won??? Reading through the numerous boxing sites i cannot believe that hardly anybody is giving marquez a chance??. (secondsout.com have 20-0 in favor by pacquaio). In the previous 2 fights i have them tied at 11 rounds each with 2 drawn but will manny winning both fights because of the knockdowns....(115-111) and (114-113) I simply cant see this fight being easy for pacquaio..as ive read on some sites. If you look at both of the fighters just now compared to when they fought 4 and 8 years ago , pacquaio has got better whereas marquez has stayed at the same high standard. I think this is where the fight will be more conclusive in manny favor especially when you add the weight.. One problem i have with pacquaio was his last fight , although he dominated mosley he didnt look the same or have the same sharpness and killer instinct....was this due to mosleys defensive tactics?? , pacqiuao saying his legs were craping up??? , nobody will know until this fight starts. Marquez has been in some wars recently vs diaz and katasidis so certainly there is more wear and tear on the mexicans 38 year old body , he also looked slower at the weight vs mayweather. So will he be able to keep pacquaio off him when manny has battered much bigger guys at this weight??? I SAY NO. prediction...the fight i think will go 1 of 2 ways 1. manny dominates from start to finish where he KOS marquez around the 5-6th round 2. now this is the one i see happening , manny winning on points knocking marquez down about 2 times en route to a much wider points win eg: 9-3 or 8-4 but well ahead on points because of the knockdowns. Marquez will be competitive right through as ususal but manny is better at this weight and has less miles in the tank. thoughts people?
I thinking Marquez is being a bit overlooked here. This fight should have happened earlier. We know Marquez stylistically is a nightmare for Pacquiao however people view Pacquiao as less technically deficient now and much bigger and stronger than Marquez. Unusually for me I cannot pick a winner because of some intangibles such as Marquez's age and the fact Pacquiao still has technical deficiences. If Marquez is not gone then I predict Pacquiao will have all he can handle. An interesting point in their last 2 fights is that Marquez won what I would call the contact zones. Pacquiao seems pissed and wants to knock Marquez out which may be a mistake I think as Marquez is a supreme counter puncher. I am a very interested observer tonight.
Right the fight will be easy for Pacman cos he has more at this stage of his career than a 4 or 5 years older Marquez.......The other thing that will make it an easy fight for Manny is cos of all the hooha about how close the previous 2 bouts were, Manny wants to put this to bed and end the chapter of fights once and for all..... Expect Manny to come out all guns blazing even more so than before, and to take Marquez out early doors.
Simply from a betting standpoint I have gone with Marquez on Points at 26/1 on betfair thats far to big a price!!
Pacquaio will be much better technically and a lot stronger than in the past 2 fights. Can't see it going the distance.
Ive always thought Marquez has never fully got the credit his boxing career deserves.. There is a part of me that wants to see Marquez finally get the credit he deserves with a stunning upset tonight . Saying that ... i see the Pacman do what hes been doing of late ... and just winning by wide decision.
