1) Look at the punch stats for fights 1 and 2 2) Punch stats aren't accurate/reliable and most certainly don't determine a winner 3) Learn the sport of boxing Oh, and this is coming from a guy who bet on PAC. From round two I could see he was in trouble as Marquez was outboxing him and making it look EASY. I would've rather lost my bet than see pac win this disgrace of a robbery. If the best counter argument pac fans have is punch stats it shows how badly he was dominated.
1) The punch stats from the first two fights don't take into account KD's. They're recordings of how many punches land, nothing more. 2) Judges usually determine outcomes that go to decision, so you're right in a sense. Much of this is subjective, but punch stats are at least as good a way to gauge performance as any. 3) Always willing to learn more. But I haven't read a single persuasive argument for calling this result a "robbery". And I say that even after reading your post.
Lets not forget who in charge and controls those punchstat numbers. Who hires those how count punches????? Thats right, HBO!:!:-( There is absolutely no way Pacquiao outlanded Marquez in the fight. Not even close. Pacquiao was regulated tonight to throwing mostly nothing but arm punches with not much behind them, Marquez had his so off balance.
1) Look who was on the canvas FOUR times 2)Fighter A lands more and threw more than Fighter B. No knockdowns. Fighter A is the defending champion. Fighter B ran away most of the fight. Who wins? 3)Likewise.
I'd probably take your argument more seriously if you didn't insist that JMM wouldn't bulk up for WW because that that would make him a PED user. back atcha!
