Well he just beat the number 1 fighter in the world, the fighter of the decade and he did it when all the advantages was in pac's favour. Yes I think he should be a WW champ right now. Which would be ****ing remarkable.

 

The performance certainly raises JMM stock, but the debate still rages on as far as I'm concerned.

 

I hope so.. ... years from now he will still be remembered as a fighter who shoulda beat Pacquiao.. or the opponent who came the closest. Morales beat Pacquiao..

The only problem is is that recorded history will always have that L stinging his resume. I put him above both though.

 

Yes, he beats them for longevity, has the superior performances against Pac, beating him 3 times for my money, has the deeper resume, has great wins from 126-148, was more versatile against boxer mover types and quicker opponents.

 

Any true student of the game would place Marquez ahead of both MAB and Morales even had Pacquiao legitly beaten the current version of Marquez.

.......but certainly after thrice getting the best of Pacquiao, I dont think there's even the smallest of doubt Marquez belongs ahead of both Morales and MAB.

Yes to barrera, no to morales. I had Marquez winning today but he wont surpass Morales. Marquez need official win. Marquez get the same style like Morales did from Pac and Morales clearly beat pac in the eyes of the 3 judge and fans. And Morales flow to Pac style that time by giving Pac what he wants A WAR, where Pac advantage was.

 

History has the luxury of clear video in living color.

I think Historians years down the line when both Marquez and Pac are retired will look at the trilogy and come to the conclusion that Marquez was the better fighter.:thumbsup

I had always rated JMM higher than both Morales and MAB.

 

I think he is tied with morales but clearly above mab, I think the morales victory was more decisive and thats against the younger pac. Some may not disagree with me, but morales early resume was superb, jmm is tied with him but maybe if jmm guns for a title which in no doubt he would win 140 or 147 then he is clearly

 

yet with another unsuccessful performance?
