Pac fought 3 times against Marquez, eventhough Marquez has proved to be a very difficult opponent for him. Pac is brave by taking chances of being defeated by an opponent who has almost defeated him at least once. When Floyd won on a split decision against old De la Hoya, they agreed that there would be a rematch. I remember that in an interview to Floyd, (since this fight has been the one that has sold the most Pay per view in boxing history), Floyd was so happy that he called DLH for a rematch. When DLH`s was ready for the remacth, he new as it was commented by HBO commentators, that the only reason for which he did not defeat Floyd, was for not keeping his jabs; he corrected his error as it could be watched in his preparatory fight agains Forbes. Floyd must have felt that a rematch against DLH was too dangerous and decided to back out from this rematch. This is quite the opposite of what Pac does by giving Marquez a rematch.
Do you agree that Floyd lacks the courage that Pac has ?

Marquez's courage is what Pacquiao lacks, maybe.

I wonder if Pacquiao would have the steam to get in the ring for a fourth time against a fighter he feels he beat three times but can't get the decision...we'll never know because Pacquiaio is never going to find himself in that kind of place because he's the Golden Child.

It's easier to match someone who is hard for you if you know on some level that the judges are going to be looking after you.

You genuinely think Pac went into this fight thinking "its ok because should I lose the judges will gift me"? :patsch

I'm pretty sure he went into this fight buying into his own hype, thinking he will settle this once and for all and was just as equally shocked as everyone when JMM proved to be as tough as ever.

Maybe cos Castillo didnt choose to turn down the biggest payday of his life to fight Chris John in indonesia for 30k instead? If we're talking about the rematch that is.

Yes, that was early in his carreer. He was against the wall
and had to give a rematch, probably a mandatory one.

but the point is he did, just as pac had to fight marquez again. there sreally no difference, in both cases there was unfinished business.

with dlh, nobody wanted to see a rematch, and what would have proven, the fight wasnt even that good and there wasnt a debate who won.

A rematch would have sold out. A lot of fans gave this fight to DLH.

what did you expect, but every who judged it objectively, knew dlh lost, there wasnt a point, the fight wouldnt have sold as it did the first time either. on top of that the fight was dull.

point is you cant credit pac for fighting an opponent again who arguably beat him, and say mayweather never did the same when he did, albeit earlier at 135.
