It was the worst I have ever seen the commentary. I had to go on twitter to make sure my eyes weren't ****ed and I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.

Steward was terrrible "I've got to give that round to Manny because he looks fresh." WTF!? And of course the fight went exactly the way he thought it would despite contradicting himself every 5 seconds.

Lampley was calling punches for Pacquiao that he didn't land and sometimes didn't even throw. "Great right hand from Pacquiao!" When the dude didn't even lift his right hand! I know he's fast and all but are you kidding me?

Harold Lederman "I'm scoring this fight on EFFECTIVE aggression." Well then why we're you giving Pacquiao rounds because it sure as **** wasn't effective.

How can they score a fight for someone because he walked forward missing with wild amateurish lunges.

As for Compubox, I had my suspicions after some people pointed it out in the Mayweather fight but last night the numbers we're completely wrong.

I'm fairly certain Roy would have told it how it was last night and I'd have been truly disappointed if he never.

just re-watched it i think manny pacquiao ddnt win this. i scored it 114-114 just in my eyes.

    rd 1 pac
    rd 2 jmm
    rd 3 pac
rd 4 close but not clear for pac
    rd 5 jmm
    rd 6 jmm
    rd 7 jmm
    rd 8 jmm
    rd 9 jmm
    rd10 pac
    rd11 pac
    rd12 pac

in most rounds jmm won clearly in rounds that i mentioned. unlike what pac had. jmm cud've pulled it off if he ddn't lay low in last 3 rounds.
if this is not a championship match jmm should be the winner. he just ddnt do enough to steal the championship belt.

    hmm says . . .

ring generalship had to go with Pac . . . he dictated the fight . . . but yeah, the commentators were pretty biased cause everyone was expecting Marq to be dominated . . .

even if i agree marquez won, i dont think floyd can do what marquez was willing to do... getting hit so you can better counter punch. floyd is not the type of fighter who is willing to take the shot, he rather avoid the punch and counter, so against a fighter as quick as pac it will be hard.

I agree with the guy who noted Max has that young guy honesty. Those other three fossils are horrible. Lederman and Steward were giving me rageflashes. Marquez dominated long stretches of the middle rounds and all they were on about was Pacquiao's footwork, how some football player idolised it, Pacquiao's speed, which was negated perfectly by Marquez's movement and timely punching, Pacquiao's power, which he didn't showcase once by moving Marquez meanwhile Marquez was beating Pacquiao out of position at least three times a round.

Bull**** comments, Max was the only one who I could listen to. We need Roy, at least his status scares Lampley and Lederman enough to be more objective at times.

And about his victory: Our GOAT didn't hold a free playback concert after this fight did he? That's all you need to know about the win right there...

    ARRIBA Marquez!!!!!!! 115-113

thats a damn shame if true, i watched the english british version of the fight. they had kahn and two other englishmen commentating on the fight.they all gave pac the 1st rd but i gave it to jmm.but after that they all had jmm wining the next 6rds in a row with kahn all sad in **** seeing his boy get outboxed.then at then end of the fight they have manny bout 2 or 3 rds, but at the end they all had jmm wining the fight including kahn. then back stage on the english broadcast they more guys talking about the fight and they all had jmm winning as well. anyone who has seen the english british broadcast of the fight can vouch on what im saying. i want to see the hbo version now.

I agree, if he just fought with more activity the last 2-3 rounds it would be safe to say he would've squeaked out a SD in vegas..

All those idiots were seriously smoking the corporate baloney. There mouth was full of it. ****ing baloney smokers, keeping HBO and Arums cash cow alive. Sickening. The Sky Team called the fight much better, and was non bias, even Khan knew his buddy was getting beat. I actually agree with Bunce for once, this fight should be investigated, though it would do no good.

Commentators are like pundits on cable news.

They are there to sell you a narrative, not explain to you what you're seeing.

No wonder why Dawson, Cotto left Steward and next will be Gamboa
