I had 7-5 Marquez, but many of those rounds were close so I can't call it a robbery. It's one of those fights where it seems judges could go either way. I'm pretty sure not many here would've contested a draw. This was a much closer fight than I anticipated! Kudos to Marquez and Pacquiao's got to work on his game against a defensively slick counter-puncher if he wants to try Mayweather.
Marquez landed the cleaner shots, no doubt about that. controled the tempo too. He won the fight. I didn't score it myself but I'm going to have to rewatch this one.
JMM won EASILY. 9-3. Abdullah, AffectedToaster, BoxKing, Bummy Davis, crimson, drunkboat, ec111, el_indio, gbdfernandez, Irländsk, Jaiston, jr78487, Medicine, MJK, Nazarene, Slothrop, and switchgear are all ****ing idiots. i can't see a score for pac.
I had it a draw and I'm really surprised that alot of people think Marquez won, maybe it was because I was watching HBO's biased commentators...
That's why I like to watch the fight from all commentators if available on Youtube in the future. I had it 7-5.
I had it 8-4 for JMM... my chick had it 8-3-1 for JMM and she was kinda rooting for Manny so i'm sure you can connect it..
116-113 Marquez after watching the fight for the 2nd time. I watched the fight on primtetime and they had Amir Khan as co-commentator and even he, as friend and sparring partner of Pacquiao, had Marquez winning.
I had Marquez winning, first 4 rounds could've gone either way. Last 2 as well, rest of the fight was pretty clear cut I felt.
115-113 Pac. I can't argue a draw either. Marquez took his foot off the gas late in the fight, I watched it happen, and knew (barring a kd) exactly what the scorecards would look like because of it.
