Bendo has the physicaly advantages, but he will most likely get outboxed against Edgar. His only chance is to use his strength pin Edgar against the cage and throw knees and punch from short distance, if he can`t do that he will get outboxed by Edgar via superior technique and speed. Both fighters have amazing heart I hope it`s going to be a war

His power is what gave him the advantage early. Henderson doesn't hit nearly as hard as Gray. Frankie's stand up is much better than Maynard's too.

Bendo doesn't have the footwork to deal with Frankie's kick boxing and movement nor does he have the wrestling to stop all of Edgar's takedowns or dominate Frankie on the ground. People like to say Bendo has incredible cardio but in his only 5 round decisions he lost the later rounds. I reall enjoy watching the dude fight but I don't give Henderson much of a chance against the champion. Remember this was the guy getting outgrappled by Anthony Pettis less than a year ago.

Edgar all the way and I am a long term Bendo fan. People counting out a guy who's beaten Penn, Maynard and Sherk amazes me.

Yeah, I see this fight going a similar way to when Edgar fought Tyson Griffin.

And IMO Guillard has the best chance of beating Edgar, but has fallen down the ladder now.

I agree. Henderson has the speed to cut off the ring, the power to crush his Fragile Glass Mandible, and the scrambling ability to offset Edgar's own considerable prowess in that area. I think it's a good match-up that could go either way but I like Henderson by late stoppage. Gil Melendez is an even surer pick to dethrone him, however.

Bendos problem will be he isn't that good a finisher, Edgar is a problem for anyone over 5 because he adapts brilliantly and doesn't tire.

This may be the fight were Edgar is told , not asked by the UFC do drop to 145 :deal

Henderson IMO is going to give Franky a lot of problems stylistically , he's a south paw , he's longer than Edgar , he himself has patient well rounded stand up , he can wrestle , is very athletic and has as good a gas tank as Edgar ................ i give him a better chance than i gave Maynard if im honest .

What we have seen from Edgar in his fights over the last 2 years is him making adjustments on the move , in fights , he seems to work out his opponents on the hoof , he was hurt by Maynard twice in the first round of both there fights but regained control of the fight through strategic application of stand up in the rounds afterwards , looking at Henderson , he looks like a more well rounded version of Maynard (clearly they wrestled on different level's) , so on paper it looks like Edgar's biggest test to date , but while Henderson is evolving so is Edgar , and every time he's out he looks that bit better in every department

Its gonna be a ******* , but as it stands im leaning towards Henderson

When has Bendo ever cut the ring off on anyone? In fact I can't think of a fight where Henderson wasn't fighting off his backfoot let alone attempting to come forward.

Bendo doesn't have the same takedown threat that Maynard does, I don't think Frankie will he fighting half as scared of the TD as he was in that fight. if he can stay on his feet with Maynard and Sherk he can do it with Bendo
