I don't agree with this. If someone lands 11 clean shots to 14 glancing blows (these are the average punch stats per round according to compubox) then I'll go for the 11 clean shots every single time.
10-9 9-10 9-10 9-10 * 9-10 10-9 * 9-10 9-10 9-10 * 10-9 * 9-10 10-9 Pacquiao is the first number. The rounds with stars I thought were the closest. 116- 112 Marquez. Just saw towbridge gave Marquez the last, which means he had pac up 5 after 11
Exactly. You score on clean, effective shots. Marquez landed these consitently, Pacquiao didn't. You don't score rounds on 'agression' when the agressor is landing cuffing shots, and the other landing clean shots at the same rate.
What pisses me off is that out of the 3 fights Marquez hasn't got the decision once. That's just scandalous. 9 different judges have scored the three fights and only two have had him winning (one in fight 1 and one in fight 2) even though you can make a case for JMM winning all 3. edit: Steward, Lampley and Lederman were shocking on HBO.
I thought Steward was ok to be honest he was the only one giving JMM credit, Lederman and Lampley where a disgrace
BTW i'm reading posts in different threads and on facebook about Pac having a bad night at office. That makes 2 bad nights at office cos he was hardly brilliant against Mosley. Mosley was **** poor and negative so i could understand but last night JMM beat him in all area's IMO. The better fighter is JMM for me simple as that.
