For the best "strategist" in the game, he sure has been coming up short.

He's still among the top trainers in the sport .... but he just talks too much. A trainer should be a behind the scenes guy but Roach seems to love the limelight.

They didn't lose any credibility in my opinion.

Pac was fighting another HoF fighter, possibly the best counter puncher in the sport at the moment, and it was competitive.

    What's wrong with that?

Roach does need to improve Pacquiao's ability to cut off the ring, because it's all about his speed when he plays the pressure fighter, he doesn't position himself well but his speed usually compensates. However, this performance is mostly on Pacquiao, he just basically stood flat-footed and pressure boxed Marquez, opening up far less than usual even when Marquez wasn't throwing much in the early going.

yes. simply because he thought and predicted an early and easy knockout for Pac, and he couldnt figure a way to get close to that. Nacho and JMM fought almost a perfect fight, it would of have been stupid to try to engage with pac. So, far above his best weight, being slower and past his prime gave a boxing lesson to pac (the p4p #1) and there was not a damn thing roach could do to stop it.
