after the dust has cleared in their fight...what are your thoughts now??? we have been talking in the past few weeks about peds leading into their fight..so what now???
lol almost no one seems to touch this subject..whereas a week ago a lot of people are arguing about peds, about heredia... anyways imo jmm is on peds, based on his performance against pac compared his fight with pbf...and also heredia being on his camp....
Im not about to get dragged into a huge discussion with fanboys about this, but in my opinion both used performance enhancing substances. I believe try are rife in all sports, not just boxing.
We're never gonna find it out, but one fighter already went through a fight with random blood and urine testing, while the other turned it down leaving the door open to accusations. As far as I am concerned - western civilized justice - they are innocent until proven guilty.
You can have innocent until proven guilty when there is actually a system in place to determine guilt or innocence, but in sport there isn't. Even less so in boxing than other sports. Even OSDT is pointless, because the whole point of doping is that the people who create the drugs are always 2-3 steps ahead of the testers. Therefore the top athletes are paying good money for substances that cannot be detected.
I agree. When you actually hear people in the 'industry' talk about these substances, it's pretty clear that almost all of the TOP athletes in most sports dope. Athletes competing in sports with all year round testing still manage to dope and pass tests, in boxing there is actually no deterrent at all. Are we to believe that boxers are somehow morally different to other athletes? From a boxer's POV there are huge cash rewards at stake, you have virtually no chance of getting caught and as far as you're concerned everyone else is doping. Why wouldn't you do it?
I think JMM did, I don't really think Pac used PEDs (I never believed that). But JMM on the other hand I think has used them, perhaps thinking that Pac is also using them and this makes it fair. I don't really care tbh, the guy is 38 years old and fought off his usual weight.
I think the guy was right when he said that sport was rife with in general, specifically USA. However I don't think JMM was juicing, he offered to be tested at any point - the funny thing I found was that the other camp didn't jump on this if he was suspected.
Marquez still looked heavy footed, like he did with Mayweather, but his timing of Pacquiao's movements is what won him the fight.
