I think the TS point is Marquez cried robbery and begged for rematches twice. Marquez believed he was wronged by the judges twice. He learned from both encounters that judges gave close rounds to the aggressor. So why do the same **** AGAIN knowing it didn't work out in the last two encounters

Shame on him getting fooled 3 times.

And it's not like we talking about a feather fisted or a one dimensional fighter here, Marquez demonstrated plenty of times tremendous offensive abilities and lethal combination punching. So if he knew he got robbed twice for not pressing the fight, what made him think this time would be any different.

since you said willing to die, margo was willing in his fight with pac. one of jmm strategy is to avoid a kd at all costs if i remember from one of nacho's interview.

True but he shouldn't cry robbery if he doesn't get the nod for trying to be cautious all night. It's no secret that he got the better of the exchange when he contered PAC but PAC is the one who pressed the attack. Not all judges like cautious fighter, it makes them look like they don't really want to fight. Marquez left it to the judges to decide and it's his own fault. Especially after asking for the fight for years and just fighting like that.

He was afraid of being knocked down, even once, which would have resulted in a close but clear Pac win had it happened.

He should have learned by now that volume is favored over counterpunching by judges.

Have you watch any of the fights. Marquez didn't want to get knocked down. Obviously 1 knockdown was the deciding factor in the 2nd fight. He just doesn't have the power to knock PAC out even if he did go for it.

Marquez has really no one else to blame but himself. He didn't come to fight. If Marquez really wanted to win he should have brought the fight to Pacquiao not the other way around. Pacquiao was chasing him all night. Marquez is afraid to engage Pacquiao and was fighting too cautious.

Marquez should knock the champ, not survive the champ.

jmm said before the fight, he will leave it all in the ring...

i dont think he did that...he didnt take too much risk...he only wins via KO...but he is not that great a fighter as some would think...

i bet you if the roles are reversed and jmm is coming forward...pac's gonna ko jmm....

as i sports fan, i always favor aggression, same with other sports.

if some of you idiots here have watched other sports like tae kwan do, or judo in case of tie, matches are awarded to the more aggressive fighter as he takes on more risk.

higher risk=higher reward. counter punchers take the low risk approach and are therefore lesser rewarded.

    simple fact of life.

You never know because Marquez could hurt PAC also. The point is he has to take that chance also and he didn't. He just fought to survive and hope that he out pointed PAC to a victory which the judges saw otherwise along with many fans. Sure you can make a case for him to win but you can also make a case for Pacquiao to win also...the point is PAC showed more that he wanted the win.

I only saw rounds 5 to 12. JMM started most of the exchanges and won them.

Well I would say it has something to do with respecting what Pacquiao has done and what he's capable of doing.. Marquez is a smart fighter and knew he could not beat Pac at his own game, so why fight him that way? He fought him doing what he does better then Pac, and that's countering. Which paid off in the long run.
