What makes you think Pac is going to fight him as a counter puncher? Pac will be the agressor like most of Floyd opponents, and as you stated above, which is a style that is perfect for Floyd. Even if Marquez did play counter puncher against Floyd, Marquez would of still lost. He was never in the fight to began with. If the aggression wasn't working why didn't Marquez swith up his style?

 

Yes styles make fights, but Mayweather is a better counterpuncher than Marquez. Hes bigger stronger and faster so he has all the advantages over Marquez and to see what Marquez did to Pac would lead most to believe Mayweather would have a much easier time with him.

Mayweather is not going to stand in front of him and slug away like most of his past opposition hes going to fight very similarly to Marquez.

Mayweather did to Marquez what Marquez did to Manny, he stranded him in no mans land and picked him off.

 

Also, Floyd cheated against JMM. He was already fighting a guy who had never been above 135, then he came in overweight, and totally refused to do a day-of weigh in.
He was probably in the upper 150s, possibly 160s, fighting a guy that weighed 142.

Mayweather's actions in that fight were disgraceful, and gave him an insurmountable advantage over a much smaller man.

The two fights aren't comparable.

I think Floyd beats Pac. However, Floyd destroyed Corrales but many thought he lost the first fight to Castillo. Yet, the first Castillo vs Corrales fight was very close. What happened there? Styles makes fight, blah, blah...
