Bob Papa tweeted after the fight: "Even though feels like JMM won, I had draw. You MUST score each Rd and write it down Then add up at end. 'Feel' & actual score differ often." The feeling in the arena was that Marquez was winning the fight, partly because Pacquiao was expected to win so comfortably, and partly because when Marquez won rounds, he generally did so more convincingly -- and at times made Pacquiao look really quite poor. By contrast, with one or two exceptions, Pacquiao didn't clearlywin as many rounds. But he eked out more of them, at least on the official scorecards. Bob pappa sums it up well. 116-112 was bull****, you couldn't give either fighter a win of more than 2 points (115-113), a draw would have been fair, JMM proves once again his greatness and that he is a warrior
Guess what Bob, we did do that. And you know what? Pacquiao still got his ass handed to him. Now shut the **** up you paid off hack.
This is the second article I've read that's a fair and realistic look at how the fight was scored, and people still **** all over it just because it doesn't support what THEY saw. It's not like Bob's saying Pac won beyond the shadow of a doubt. So many people just can't seem to grasp that there are other viewpoints that have nothing to do with being monetarily or emotionally invested in one boxer over the other.
JMM didn't fight scared he fought smart and was 50/50 with Pac a guy who ripped through the WW division
