Well if you didnt see the fight, they announced it on ESPN that Pacquiao won... That's all they know. I just went to my mechanic earlier today, also filipino .. hes family and friends was there... I asked who they think won.. they said Marquez.
No - the majority aren't interested at all in boxing or other combat sports. For those that do even a littlle. They are Pac fans because of who he is outside the ring more so than who he is inside the ring. Imagine Mayweather if he wasn't a douche bag outsdie the ring...?
