Don King will try and talk him into it, but AG won't. His dream is to win a title, not unify.

Also, I find it funny hes a latino champion. :rofl

The answer, I believe, would be this. RJJ is 170 lbs. & AG is 240 lbs. You can't compare the two. Its much harder for a HW the size of Andrzej to have blazing speed has he ages. Whereas its much, much easier for the smaller man to retain most of his speed as he ages. Thats how I see it.

Thanks for letting me know. If Kelly had done a more fair and balanced job of warning Bowe for rabbit punches in the beginning of the first Bowe fight then maybe that fiasco later on would have never happened. It was obvious he was giving Bowe carte blanche to use dirty tactics while keeping the young foreigner on a tight leash. This is what made me root for Golota then and in every subsequent bout except the McBride fight. However, in retrospect it is better that Golota beat McBride as McBride had no prospects because of his limited ability and drive to train hard. I thought Cotton did a much better job in the second Bowe fight although that is not saying much considering Kelly's bungling of the first fight. The local sports writers in my area just about unanimously picked AG to defeat Lennox Lewis in October of 1997. Golota was percieved at this time to be half man and half machine. A cold blooded killer in the ring that gave no pity and showed no emotion.

I think this is the correct answer. However, I'm still impressed that Jones seemed to have lost zero speed. You would think he would have slowed down a little bit but his speed looks the same as he was in the 90's!

Maybe he should have said " Golota could not resist hitting Bowe in his scrotum, the pouch of skin which contains the testes, epididymides, and lower portions of the Bowe's spermatic cords."

That's what I'm talkin' about! Bizarre ring antics aside, Golota gives you so much other wacky material, it wouldn't have to just be about boxing. And these are just the things we know about. :D

I said Rums should have stuck to keeping his writing style professional, not med school scientific mumbo jumbo!

I watched the fight again last night, and yeah he was definitely very slow. Manny Steward kept making comments about it. He seemed a tad faster in the first few rounds. He was really having his way with Mollo until that eye got messed up. After that the fight became very sloppy with Golota winging slow punches to Mollo's body and head while Mollo stumbled around everywhere. Maybe that bad eye is what caused him to slow down for second half of the fight.

I'd like to see if Golota can turn it up a notch. Golota said he could do much better. I'm almost possitive he would have finished Mollo had it not been for him fighting like one eyed willy.

Not only the eye, but Mollo's constant clinging to Golota like a baby ****** clinging to its mother was also a factor, too.:blood

Andy needs to work on timing, reaction time, and getting off his feet. He's been a bit flat footed and straight up. He needs to move better. He's still not loosened up properly.
