My first thoughts were bargaining ploy.. But given the fact that Mayweather may now go ahead and fight anytime from Feb-May now, I think not. Blatant duck. **** Arum.

 

I have been saying it for the post two years ARUM is the reason why the fight never happened! He always protects his cash cows and tries to make the most money off them before he cuts them loose.

I'm not at all surprised by this. Arum said he wanted to make the fourth fight almost immediately after the fight Saturday night.

He's just looking to cash in on another in-house fight.

 

Hmmm, well he did sign another promotional contract with another promoter while already having a contract with his current promoter. Some would call that being ******ed. :think

Arum loves money over Manny, he's been the most successful boxing promoter in the history of the sport love him or hate him. It wasn't his fault Lopez had no discipline and blew the Gamboa fight, people said he blew that one but the fight wasn't ready yet and don't blame him.

Pac & Mayweather is ready now. May is the perfect month for it, Manny's athletic skills will start eroding little by little in a short time, they can't afford it. Even if Manny were to lose to Floyd, Arum would still be able to squeeze out another couple of mega fights with Pac, but if he loses before Floyd, then they lose way more money. Marquez can wait, that purse will still be there afterwards.

Negotiating 101. I'm more concerned about Floyd now saying he wants a match in February. You know that won't be Pac and Arum isn't gonna wait until February to negotiate.
