Just stop it. This fight has been delayed long enough. There's no reason to delay it again just to see a 4th match between Pacquiao and Marquez. And what happens if Marquez gets jobbed again? Do we see a 5th fight? What if Marquez outboxes him again and gets the decision? Then what? If Pac loses to Marquez or struggles again, we'll never get the fight we all want. If Pac loses to Mayweather, people will still want to see a 4th Pacquiao/Marquez fight.

you're right. but i think the PERCEPTION will be that he avoided mayweather. this fight has been dangled in front of people's eyes for at least two years now. both sides share responsibility in it not happening. but the thing with may 5th is that mayweather is finally officially calling out Pac on a set date. so this mega fight that's been talked about for years can finally take place in 6 months if Pac (Arum) agrees to it. by taking a rematch with JMM, he'll actively be walking away from a possibly set date.

and i think the rematch clause was in there in the event that JMM won, which he "officially" did not.

that's the difference, to me at least.

I never felt that Pacman was the ducking type. He looks like he would fight anyone if they signed to fight him, even Klitchko. Either he really wants to fight Marquez, or Arum is using this as a marketing technique.

I think that may be the case. This is probably actually good for Top Rank. They aren't only making a ***** load of money on this fight, but they can possibly make as much on a fourth fight. And then add in the Floyd - Pac fight... Bob will have enough money to make a mansion out of 100 dollar bills.

i see this too. i think pac has great sportsmanship. but i also think he COULD say "enough is enough" to arum and do everything possible to make the fight with floyd. especially because he knows how bad we want the fight and how bad he looks now.

    Who would you rather fight?

A guy who you know would make you look ******ed, or a guy you know would lose a spilt decision to you even if he knocked you out in 30 seconds?

Why cant *******s admit Arum is scared to put Manny in the ring with Floyd? Floyd made it clear he wants Pac even before Pac barely beat Marquez in which he set up the may 5 date. Arum is a true chicken sh4t coward cause he knows Mayweather will easily beat his cash cow star.

Marquez definately deserves another shot if he wants to take it. I don't have a problem with PAC-JMM 4.

Mayweather-PAC could wait - Floyd had his chance, but complicated things with his demands.

From the discussions here, you will get the impression that Floyd already called out Pac for the May 5 fight. But that is not the case. Floyd never said that he will fight Pac on May 5.

If there is a fourth fight, Marquez should definately get the big end on that paper cause he would be the draw.
