Arum apparently informs Golden Boy and Mayweather they won't be after a fight...

  1. There's nothing wrong with wanting to see it again, at all.

In fact, I'd say Pacquiao needs a legitimate win over Marquez to give the Floyd fight a bit of lustre, which has completely gone after Saturday.

It had slipped enough with Mayweather thinking up any excuse not to do it, with Pac losing at the weekend..... :-(

theres nothing wrong with us wanting to see it again, it was fascinating to see Marquez out thinking Pacquiao but why would Marquez take it?

It wouldnt PPV that well imo because the casual will have percieved that to be a stinker because they thought Pac was going to chainsaw someone and therefore Marquez could take 2/3 fights for around the same money but not as dangerous

Consider it from his perspective - if Sat night wasnt clear enough what will be? It seems to me (and probably to him) that they could fight over and over and the only way Arum etc will move on is until Pac knocks him out.

Id say Marquez is reasonably comfortable. he should tell them to stick it

The May 5thdate Floyd has been spouting happens to coincide with a Mexican public holiday. There was also rumours Mayweather was going to fight Morales next.

I just wonder if we put 2 and 2 together

Id like to see manny-jmm 4 but is there really much apart from another payday to make juan want it, he seems like a level headed bloke im preety sure hes content with winning in the fans eyes and retireing gracefully.

Lets be honest hes not gonna do much better than he did on saturday that was preety much an optimal performance from juan all things considerd

JMM would be stupid to take a 4th fight with Pacquiao. It's pretty obvious he can't win and even if he knocked Pacquiao out they'd find a way to DQ him.

He thinks he can make more than $50 Million by putting Pacman in 2 or 3 other fights instead of 1 fight with PBF which will ruin him.

It's funny how after supposedly booking the MGM venue for Pac on May 5th, Mayweather has suddenly become the man that's been wanting the fight all along, and Arum being the only road block to it happening. They completely forget the drug-testing nonsense and the vacations Floyd has thrown in the way .

I don't blame Pac putting the Floyd fight on hold (that's if it even was going to take place in May 2012), to correct the situation with JMM. Saturday night threw a spanner into the works. It's had a massive impact on Pac's objectives for the next couple of fights.

I hope JMM tells em to **** off, He won on Saturday and the second fight at the least!. I have no interest in watching the man get robbed again.

For me Mayweather-Pac lost my interest 15 months ago.

This is the same Arum that refused to make the Mayweather vs De La Hoya figh don't forget.

  15. Exactly.

What a difference a week makes.

Floyd has been desperate to fight Pacquiao all along, which explains a near two year layoff and then a tune up fight against a man who really isn't much more than an overhyped joker.
