How do you score close rounds with give & take punches? Some of JMM's punch doesn't even connecting though his big movements looks like his punching through Pac.

Marquez was landing the clearer, more effective blows.

Effective? You did saw after the fight that JMM's face was swelling compared to Pac though JMM's big movements are deceiving but JMM didn't fought like a challenger so close rounds I gave it to Pac because of aggression & being the champ it's not like JMM was dominating or something to even say that giving rounds to Pac just by moving forward was ignorant... It could go either way it's just people expected more from Pac that's the reason why most think JMM got the W...

Not many can decide on which rounds were decisive and many Marquez fans give the close rounds to either fighter depending on who you ask. For this reason alone this fight wasn't a robbery, in the judges eyes Pacquiao edged more of the closer rounds than Marquez fans/ Floyd fanatics would like to give Pacquiao credit for.

Pac edged the fight. Get over it esb.

I don't think we'll see two scorecard on here the same and that is thousands of different people (scoring may be the same, but the orders will be different).

As such, how can anyone disagree with the judges when it all comes down to different opinions and subjectivity?

Marquez still has a long future. He seems very intelligent and if he keeps his head, he'll still be in many big fights.

I tend to view the fight as a whole. There were a few close rounds, but they could not all go to PAC or JMM. I didn't see any dominant rounds for PAC while I saw a number for JMM.

I couldn't see how PAC could have won unless he was given all the close round plus a couple of JMMs rounds.

Following the actual protocol for judging taking into account all factors:

    1. 10 - 10
    2. 10 - 9
    3. 10 - 9
    4. 10 - 9
    5. 10 - 9
    6. 10 - 10
    7. 10 - 9
    8. 10 - 9
    9. 10 - 10
    11. 10 - 9
    12. 10 - 10

    For Marquez/

Disregarding judging criteria and being biased towards Pac: 117 - 116 Pac

But that's not how you score a fight. You score it round by round. Look at what one of the judges said.
