Scoring a boxing match is round by round? JMM won some convincing rounds but it's not enough to be called a decisive winner. It was close but for a challenger he didn't take enough risk to take the belt convincingly besides for me 2 of 12 rounds, JMM got that on the bag but the rest it's a toss up...

I just watched this again and have no idea how this can be scored for Pacquaio, who for most of the first 2/3rds of the fight was somewhat outclassed and made to look foolish.

Round 1: Pacman 10 - 10 Marquez (hard to score)
    Round 2: Pacman 9 - 10 Marquez
    Round 3: Pacman 9 - 10 Marquez
    Round 4: Pacman 10 - 9 Marquez
Round 5: Pacman 9 - 10 Marquez (easy round to score; classy display of boxing)
Round 6: Pacman 9 - 10 Marquez (arguable round but class shown by Marquez, Pacquiao had best get his freak on real soon...)
    Round 7: Pacman 10 - 10 Marquez (even round)
Round 8: Pacman 9 - 10 Marquez (hard to call)
Round 9: Pacman 9 - 10 Marquez (Exciting round. Marquez outclassed pacquiao with his accuracy and made Pac swing at air and look poor)
    Round 10: Pacman 10 - 9 Marquez
    Round 11: Pacman 10 - 9 Marquez
    Round 12: Pacman 9 - 10 Marquez

    113 - 117 Marquez

I was getting a little hazy by the time rounds 10 - 12 came along, so I'm not entirely sure how accurate I was there but one thing I'm sure about is that Marquez won the fight.

manny did not win one solid round. not one. while pee pee boy had about 3-4 solid rounds. the rest you can give to marquez as he controlled the tempo. to me it's almost one sided.

Exactly. I found it hard to conclusively judge a single round for Pac until the end of the fight. Marquez had some clear rounds and some which were close if I had to choose who to give them to then Marquez had the better claim for cleaner and classier work. Pacquaio was extremely ineffective in this fight and the compubox stats look pretty bogus.
