Don't screw the long built-up for a Klitschko fight. Somebody needs to wear the black hat and Fury is great for that delusional role. Hopefully Britons starts to fall in to him enough to believe his words.

Amazingly, after the Chisora and Firtha fights even some of the knowledgable posters here were over-rating him, giving him a chance of beating the likes of Povetkin, Helenius, Arreola etc.

I agree, Pajkic was recovering and was in the middle of an exchange when the fight was called. It was way to early.

The prior knockdown Fury was CLEARLY HOLDING AND PUNCHING! But none of the Brit fans tend to acknowledge this.

Exactly. While Firtha stoppage was immature, this one was more due to referee allowing Fury to hold and swing back to the neck of his opponent.

Fury likely would of won the fight, but at that point of time, fight was still fair game, and Pajkic was not in complete trouble, there was only seconds left in the round.

That shady referee may have thought he was helping Fury by stopping the fight early, but what he really did was rob Fury of a clear, decisive win. And it clearly hasn't done Fury's popularity any good.

Similarly, the early stoppages in Fury's last fight with Firtha, and in Kell Brook's fight with Jackiewicz robbed the home fighters of decisive knockouts (which would have happened within a round or two if the fights had been allowed to continue).

nobody really rates fury. but the fact is that he is always in fun, action packed fights which are likely to end early. he is a ko waiting to happen, and when it does happen, it will be accompanied by a huge cry of timber.

Godo point. Fury is clearly protected, and its making him look bad in fights he would of won, anyway.

I read on another site that Fury wants to face Povetkin in NYC in March. I like that fight from an action stand point but I don't think theres anyway Fury wins it. Povetkin is simply a better fighter than Fury and would beat him.

I haven't seen the Fury-Pajkic fight but if the stoppage was that bad then maybe he should look to rematch him. If Fury does intend to fight in NYC then he could probably get ESPN, ShoBox, Versus on board and a Pajkic rematch would be a good fit. I like his ambition but Fury should be looking at another Pajkic fight instead of Povetkin at this moment.

Pajkic deserves a rematch slightly more than Firtha does IMO.

Fury doesn't deserve Povetkin until he grants a rematch to one or the other.

Too many lingering questions about what happens with a non-British ref.

Sure, he seemed on the verge of legitimately stopping both after bouncing back from being hurt himself...but if he could recover and mount a comeback, why couldn't they?

Exactly man. And in the interview, Neven says Fury promised him a rematch, so only Hennessey is standing in the way of it. Fury needs to clean this mess up with Pajkic before he moves on, if he is to move on.
