Exactly :good to all those predictable idiots who just came back with things like 'the computer fight is a joke' 'the computer fight proves nothing' etc etc (how predictable) - in this case it disproves the ridiculous notion that Ali would've been to big for Marciano what a joke - that's the biggest joke on here - Ali would've been too big for Marciano right:rofl I suppose he was too big for Henry Cooper aswell??, and Doug Jones?? and Floyd Patterson?? and Joe Frazier?? and Zora Folley and countless others all of whom though smaller than Ali were the stronger more physical fighters in there who Ali had to rely on his unbeleivable speed and virtuosity to beat rather his size - come on lets get real Marciano and all the other smaller great such as Dempsey Tunney Joe Louis and Jack Johnson etc etc - they were ALL heavyweights and they were all plenty big enough to cope with each other

 

I think it's fairly obvious that Rocky was the same size as Joe Frazier and e've seen Joe next to Ali enough to make an accurate size gage .. Joe's reach was longer but I don't think that matters as neither Rocky or Joe were going to enter a bout with Ali hoping to out jab him ... both would bull their way in and crack away ..

 

Great built for Max Baer amazing im those times.

 

Baer had the perfect build for a heavyweight, with those long, smooth muscles of his..and he had an anvil of a chin...it's a shame that his mentality wasn't up to the task of being what he could have been.

 

Frazier was bigger all round than Rocky, and 20lbs heavier.

 

Check out how damned big and massive Carnera looks next to Baer, who wasn't a small man himself.

 

What 2 fighters would you like to see side by side if it was possible?

I would go Sam Langford and Evander Holyfield. Bit random i know but hey.

I was also thinking that if you could link different fighters pictures, you could come up with a size chart that is very accurate. It would obviously have to be done professionally and would take a bit of time. It would be nice though when complete.

Height. The weights are obvious although Rocky was leaner.

 

Well these aren't real good for reference because no one is standing up straight. You cant tell how tall or how big. Except in the Ali/Lennox pic where Ali looked 2 inches shorter than the 6'5 Lennox making Ali 6'3 as usual.

Not at all random. Essentially, we saw this with Holyfield-Qawi. Sam is recorded as being one inch taller with one inch more of reach than Ike. Both were built like tanks.

 

The fatter Holmes gets, the more he looks Chinese!

And Gerry Cooney doesn't look 6'6" or 6'7"; not unless Wlad Klitschko is really 6'9"!
