hmm.. Maybe if fighter were required to wear bigger gloves in England this would not happen as much? Lets say 25 OZ gloves? with padded chin strap?
Have some respect ****ers. This is one of the greatest events in the history of the sport and will be talked about for generations. Fury's legacy is already secure.
Pathetic **** thread. I don't even rate Fury and I don't see him going very far at the top level, due to very average power, lack of conditioning and a poor defence. But this glass jaw crap is so juvenile it is untrue. Yeah yeah virtually every fighter in history has a glass jaw also known as "being a human". He got hit flush with a huge looping shot bang on the chin by a man weighing over 230 lbs and he went down. He then got up before the count had reached 4 and fought on and won. Asinine shite like this is an embarrassment to the sport and half the so called "fans" have probably never even been in a fight.
I wouldn't say Fury had average power. Look at Firtha's face in 4 short rounds, Povetkin hardly laid a mark on him when he went the distance.
He'll never be world class whilst he's not got the commitment to getting himself in shape. He's got some natural boxing ability, but that only gets you so far, hard hard work gets you to the top.
Yer I don't know where this myth came from that Fury has no power, it's his technique that's sloppy. Not lack of power. Fury had Pajkic on ***** street with arm punches. imagine what damage he could do if he learnt to throw a technically correct straight right hand
