Who'd win? Apparently it is possible. - http://www.***********.com/carlos-quintana-hopes-face-jermain-taylor-on-12-30--46066
So Jermain has bypassed the jr middles this time around and is going straight for welterweights?!? I'll give him a pass this time because he's been off for so long but he'd better face a legit, real 160lb'er in his next fight.
Welterweight/light middleweight. Of course, during his reign Taylor was criticized for feasting on primarily welters/light middles...so this isn't exactly new for him, it just makes for a bit of a stark contrast to slugging it out with super middles. :yep
Several of Indio's career bouts have been at light middleweight (above the 147lb limit) and three of his last four were at 154. This is no different than the MW title defenses against Wright, Ouma and Spinks.
Jermain Taylor should fight a full fledged MIDDLEWEIGHT! Pissing around with jr middles I believe is what got him knocked out by Kelly Pavlik in the first place. It's like taking BP in the slow pitch cages before hitting against a 100mph pitcher. I like Jermain, but he needs to fight a middleweight.
