    I hear that Julio just signed to fight for the #2 IBF slot
    The IBF must love this guy! After his weak showing againts Juan now he gets the chance to fight for the #2 spot?
    I hear the fight is in Dubai from some guys out in LA.
    I know Fredy W posted a few things from Julio's training camp before. What do you hear about this one?

    Well he was champ not too long ago. I dont see why he should drop down so low he is still a good fighter.

    He only fought twice in 07 and once was to an injured Chavez. was out classed by juan and quit on his stool ( brother threw in towel)
    Now he is under a new trainer? Doesnt seem like the man to me!

    Yeah, but he was thoroughly dominated by Juan Diaz. I can't see him being too eager to step into the ring again with JUan Diaz, but here he is again lining himself up for a shot. I don't know why he just doesnt try to go after the other diaz David, but I think David has bigger frish to fry wiht Pacquiao possibly looming.

    Ganoy is a massive puncher, should be interesting to see how he goes with this massive step up.

    Julio should of stayed on his toes vs Juan. He clearly took the 1st rd. When his corner told him that he's stronger than Juan and to hold his ground, he went downhill from there.

    Re wtch that fight. His corner told him the opposite. the told him to move and stated it throughout. i was at that fight and heard his corner telling him to move each round. They were even yelling in English and spaniash you can hear it on the broadcast. After the fight aty the press confrence even the HBO staff went up to his corner and said why did he do his own thing tonight (it was Lennox Lewis)

    I agree Ganoy can punch huge, I have seen him train a bit and his punches sound different to other fight around the same weight.

    A friend of mined has sparred him and he said he punches huge for his size and hard than another 135 fighter from Australia who is world class.
