Marquez was Magnificent!!!

38 years old and moving up two weight divisions.

The Mexican fan as a whole show up to support there fighters and unlike most other fans from different nationalaties, alot of them really understand what age and moving up weight divisions do to a fighter.

Even I, likely Marquez' biggest fan on this board did'nt pick him outright.

I had voiced in this forum that if Pacquiao came out fast and furious, with Pacquiao coming to him, Marquez would disect him.

I knew Roach was bluffing when he said Pacquiao would knock Marquez out early. I figured he was to smart to have Pacquiao go out to seek and old Marquez fast and furious without first trying to baffle the old man with speed of foot.

My worry was that Pacquiao would come out on his toes and give Marquez alot of movement from long range using his faster footwork.
Could Marquez at his age and this weight be able to be quick enough and fast enough to keep up and find Pacquiao if Pacquiao layed back and forced Marquez to come to him.
I got my answer very early in the fight, the first two rounds to be exact, as it found Marquez being quick and fast enough to catch Pacquiao with leads (not even setting him up):yikes
I was'nt counting on Marquez to be able to do that so early and so easily in the fight.

.......and then when Pacquiao started to get a little desperate, he took it to Marquez and Marquez did what he does best, counter and counter clean and hard.

Well, you know how I feel about the decision, and I'd sure like to get your take on it, but understand under the circumstances if you dont want to give it yet.

I must say I'd be suprised, but not shocked if you gave that fight to Pacquiao.

Dont cop out and have it a draw.
