There's nothing to be ashamed of PAC's performance. It might be subpar, an off-night or simply JMM still has his number (tho still can't contact PAC ) but you can't criticize PAC for not trying and giving it all in that fight.
I am a PAC fan and I even saw the fight going to JMM or atleast a draw. It doesn't bother me, JMM is a great fighter and it was a close fight between two ATGs. People who were disapponted are not boxing fans at all.
yup OnePunchKO and notanMMAfan are hilarious in that video, I think I might have even caught a glimpse of PekPek in there
I'm not from the Philippines and not, never will be, ashamed to be a Pacquiao fan. I don't see why anyone would be ashamed, Pacquiao didn't score the fight, he fought a close tough battle in the ring and judges scored it. What's there to be ashamed of? Give credit to Marquez rather than being one-dimensional with Pacquiao.
I'm not ashamed of Pacquiao. Closest I could score that fight is a draw. I initially had JMM winning 7-5 but I've only seen it once since I don't have Internet at my new place yet. I don't think itd be much different. The excuses being made by the Philippine media and some of his camp's members are sad though. I think Manny has started believing his own hype. And now Arum's hype machine has had a wrench thrown into it and he's only making Manny seem worse. Pacquiao isn't helping himself much either. Point is, he lacked passion and focus in that fight. If he doesn't put that spirit he used to have and the creativity to his approach and punching, he'll never look good again in the ring or the media. He needs to revamp his training like he used to. It's almost painful to say but he deserves to be number 2. It's not because of how well Marquez did this fight, I knew he would go 12 rounds. It's how poor Manny looked trying to phone it in.
I don't think Filipinos would be ashamed of that. He's still the best of all boxers. No one could beat his collection of belts.
