Oh snap. This isn't a step up for Timbo (it most definitely is for Vernon, a HUGE step up), but it's an interesting choice and not an altogether terrible defense. Could be better, but could be worse all things considered. Outside of Holt and maybe Abregu, Paris is probably the straight-up (as opposed to p4p) hardest puncher Bradley will have ever faced.
A) what a waste for Bradley; it's not the absolute worst fight for him, but pretty bad B) Bradley cruises to an at times difficult UD
Bradley has a legit resume. Very. Witter, Holt, Vazquez, Cherry, Peterson, Abregu @ 147, Alexander That's a very solid top 7 victories, to go with the 0. Toward the ass end of the top ten P4P, and he's been there for a little while now.
Based on his fight with Coleman, he still looks a little too green for Timbo. If he's that wide open while going to the body on Bradley, he'll get picked apart. Could be some sparks though, as he's got talent and power.
Exactly what purpose does this fight serve? I thought Bradley would benefit from his new alliance with TR. Guess I was wrong. Couldn't he have found a more deserving 140'lber?
Paris-Coleman was a great fight. Paris is the light skinned one [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVJMXZtLPOQ[/ame]
I think this fight would really showcase Bradley's skills and boxing IQ, because he isn't getting a KO or TKO in the fight, Paris has him beat in all measurables and has some heavy pop and the skill to deliver it. Tough fight for his second appearance at 147. I wouldn't mind seeing it as a setup to a future fight against Ortiz, Berto, Khan, or Mike Jones.
This is a good fight. He is undefeated and will be very difficult for Bradley to beat. I'd rather see Bradley fight Pacquiao or Khan but if Pacquiao is fighting Marquez next then he should take this fight instead.
