Round 1

Otas comes in with a high line drive jab and some slow right hands with a bit of curl in them. Makabu is just stepping back out of the way and countering with more accurate but not very snappy right jabs. Now after a minute of Otas coming forward Makabu turns up the heat with the right jab and walks him back to the ropes. Otas is getting sliced and diced with the jab and some crossbow lefts. Otas is leaning back against the ropes and waving his arms in front of his face to keep the leather out while dimpling his neck like a bobblehead toy. Makabu keeps working his way in behind the right jab and straight left out of his tight guard while leaning forward off the front foot. Body shots by Makabu!! Big right hooks!!! Otas is on the ropes, but survives the round.

There are some Africans freaking the **** out at the Monte Casino.

They'd be none too disappointed to see Otas rendered unconscious for the duration of his return flight to Brazil.
