    Why would it be anything but middleweight?

    Saul is a growing boy. By the time they meet, he'll definitely have moved up to 160 already.

    Chavez on the other hand probably doesn't have too many growth spurts left in him and will probably settle right where he is for a while. (remember, he started as a sixteen year old pup as a super featherweight)

    Chavez Jnr. is too big for MW. He needs to move up before the draining really hurts him. Even so, tonight he just showed that he was no better than a gatekeeper.

    Didn't see anything too wrong with the stoppage. Manfredo wasn't answering back, blocking properly, or holding. Referee had no choice but to jump in.

    He actually was trying to block, slip and hold as Kellerman said. The problem is he was too slow in doing those things. Chavez was actually missing with virtually everything but the shots he was landing were enough to incite Cole to action because Manfredo just didn't look to the naked eye like he was in a good spot there. Chavez was missing more because of his own hyperactivity and lack of disciplined offense than because of anything Manfredo was doing. That attempted clinch that came right when Cole jumped in was about twenty seconds late. Manfredo was slipping and blocking shots more by accident than anything, not due to having razor-sharp reflexes.

    Maybe I've watched too many premature British stoppages but I didn't mind that one :lol:

    I thought Manfredo was initially hurt, didn't recover and continued to have his head rocked back. The key point for me is that after such a long wait after the initial punch, Manfredo hadn't recovered at all, so I think it was a good stoppage.

    Yeah, but Mexico's right next door. :bart They should make some attempt to brush shoulders with the neighbors. (especially since they're always making us mind the kids :twisted:)
