I saw a young man with a long history of quitting, once again find a way out of a fight when things didn't go easy for him. Victor has a very long history of this, going all the way back to his amateur days in Kansas. Tell Victor something he doesn't want to hear or make him do something he doesn't want to do and he quits.

He was the defending Champion going in. On that alone I think there should be a rematch. However, and there is a however here. He was getting so out classed, and there are better opitions for Mayweather.

He quit when he viciously headbutted Floyd. He was getting caught repeatedly with straight right hands and he had no answer for it. Robert Gonzales, Victor's former amateur coach and I were watching the fight together. Right before the headbutt, we both said at the same time, "Victor is frustrated and is about to do something stupid". Seconds later, he tried to take Mayweather's head off with his head. Victor is so predictable. Some of you talk about sucker punches but sucker punches are not legal and every official boxing organization has ruled that Floyd had done nothing wrong. Robert Gonzales: "Only a person who knows nothing about boxing would be pissed by what Mayweather did".

Well, the entire building erupted in boo's while emmual steward basically screamed like a girl.
Yea it's legal, but why does a champion and best in the world have to hit a guy when he knows he's trying to apologize? Let alone not even looking.
And let's not pretend Floyd wasn't elbowing him which was clear right before the headbutt. Floyd's left elbow landed flush on vic's jaw. Vic had a point deducted and apologized like a man does. Yea he overdid the apology but doesn't make it ok for Floyd to hit a guy when he knows he isn't expected it. It was legal but it was immoral. If Vic pulled that **** all of Floyd's gangstars would've probably shot him dead in the ring. Let's be real. *****'s would've went fukin buck wild. I was a fan of Floyd's up until that point. Mosley, Oscar, Haglar, Hearns, Leonard -- none of them would've hit an opponent in that manner. They would have at least waited till Oritz was set, let alone his hands not still at his sides. Floyd's now done that 3 times in his last 5 fights! It amazes me this resides ok with people.
It was simply a coward action. I'd expect that from Mayorga, MAYBE, or Butler, not the p4p champ.

Mayweather vs Ortiz without a 16month layoff just isn't a fair fight.

Appeared to be prefabricated. Ortiz should have known that you can't trust a woman beater!
