Say what you like about the man he always created a buzz when he fought that we havent really seen since, he had a unique fanbase and every fight was an event.

I wasn't sorry to see him flattened by Pacquiao mostly because his loyalists used to **** me off with nonsensical overrating of is skills and abilities, but i kind of miss the old lug now.

hatton was big business , nobody can say he he never wanted to be tested , loved his come forward style/

his fights were like events especially the mayweather and pacquaio fights.

no shame in losing to the 2 best boxers who are all time greats

overrated by some, vastly underrated by the haters.
was a great boxer, great style,no namby pamby 'jab jab run away run away',was his down fall in the end, still had some great nights watching him.

but the hatton days are not missed as much as the benn eubank days, now, they were special.

  10. Not really. He was basically the Dimitrenko of the light welterweight division, bar the odd decent body shot he was largely awful.

kinda makes my point of how much haters underrate him,how anyone can say hatton was not world class need to go watch ping ****ing pong or something a bit more girlie:-:)deal

  12. Ha ha ha, he he he, ho ho ho, Jesus wept. :patsch
In no way shape or form was Richard Hatton anywhere near World class. I stand by what I said previously, Hatton was nothing more than a short version of Dimitrenko that was marketed very well and was matched up very well against useless opponents and shot okay opponents.

fair enough if you don't rate him but at least try and understand what the term "world class" means in a boxing context.
