Again with "clear copy" "slow-mo" etc argument... if you can score a fight properly, you hardly ever change your scoring for the 2nd view. If your opinion changes based on the commentary team, speed of play, tape recording alone compared to live veiw with friends or quality of the copy, then something is seriously ****ed up with your with ability sorry to say.

If you had it differently for the 2nd time, how do you know you won't change your scores for the 3rd, watching a 3rd copy in a 3rd mental state? :think

They did a poll on hbo after the replay last night. 20% of people had Pac winning. 12% of boxing writers. Pac is liked by the majority. He lost bc he did not win rds 6 or 9. Those that say Marquez stopped fighting are full of ****. Pac did nothing in the late rds except thos 4-5 left hands he landed in the beginning of the 11th. Marquez won the last 2 minutes of the rd.

seriously, you don't even know how bad the feed i was watching at the cinemas live. you cannot actually tell if a punch did hit or not and it's ironic since it a big screen. and for the record, i have not scored it when i watched it live. the first time i scored it was yesterday.

and actually, there are many posters who felt the same after rewatching it. people were actually expecting a pac domination that when jmm did not get dominated in any round, people might be giving rounds to jmm because of it. i was also under the impression that pac was actually panicking the first time i watched it live and boy i was wrong when i rewatched it, he was in control, albeit jmm is making it hard for him to do his usual stuff which is actually expected if you based in from their two previous fights.

that was not even an excuse. that was most of the people's mindset while watching the fight live. i'm guilty of this when i actually thought that jmm got this certain round of the fight but when watched it later, it was not a clear scoring round for him after all.

my initial thought when i watched the fight live was that pac is not in control and panicking. after seeing the fight again, he was actually doing good and maintained his pace from the beginning to the end.

Again I'm having the following argument:

Me: clean effective punching to decide the outcome of the rounds, add'em up and you have a clear winner for whatever viewing.

Counter-argument (chose yours): compubox stats, false expectations, who threw more, who was coming forward, slo-mo view, different copy, different commentators, different state of mind etc.

It's bull**** and it ends here.

pacquiao actually connected more clean punches in more rounds as i saw it than he was being credited for. slipping the left and moving to his right and using the right hook to stop marquez on his tracks.

marquez' clean punches came more in the middle rounds which i actually scored form him, 5, 6 and 7.

i agree with you, it's always easier to judge whilst you watch it. specially when you are watching it live at ringside, just like what those 3 judges saw.. pac won :happy
