Floyd's jab is the best in the biz. Notice how JMM comes forward and plants his lead foot when he jabs. Floyd lures you in and times you as you come in therefore getting hit when you least suspect it. Plus Floyd really does some cold blooded ****. He waits for you to breathe in also when he shoots shots at you. He's a chess master that people disregard just because of his personality. It's sad really. Manny's one footed lunging in bull**** stands no chance against a boxer of Floyd's intelligence. Try tennis. It's more easy to pick up then boxing.

Because Marquez and Pac the same reach bro. If Floyds reach is 5 inches longer than Pacs and Floyd is a Defensive minded fighter then PAc will have to come to Floyd to hit him. Floyd can stay in his range if he wants and Pac wont be able to reach or land anything consistently.

Floyd's hand speed, reaction time, and reach will allow him to land his right hands from Mid-Long range and still make pac miss. Or instead of leading with the right Floyd will... PULL COUNTER as pac tries to land jabs or his off balance lead left.

Using Pac's counters on Marquez (and the few in number you could find) is no indication of Pac landing these shots on Floyd. Floyd will not have to be in pac's range to hit him. while pac has to press the issue and cut off the ring to reach and land on floyd. Pac cant cutoff the ring effectively hence jmm ability to simply step back and avoid wild punches against him. PAc doesnt step to the side of his opponents to cut off the ring he comes right @ them.

Jmm - reach 67 the same as Pac's dude

Pac has never been a great counter puncher and when he does counter punch its when he is hit and retaliates.

Also the gifs you posted were not effective counter punches as they didnt take away any element of jmm's fight plan.

this counter takes away a fighters jab and leaves him with limited options to land with. Once Floyd gets manny's timing down he will see this punch manny times until he knows the jab will be countered ans stops throwing them.

In order for many to counter Floyd he will have to time his right hand lead completely and throw his left or right simultaneously while dodging the right hand. This is called a Jolt Counter and take extreme skill to pull off. Manny has not shown anywhere near the amount of skill it takes to pull that off against a fighter with much more reach than him.
