    Johnson had awesome power IMO. Most of the time he just carried his opponents (literally), when it would be easier for him to stop his opponents.

    I like to think he just toyed with guys

    Holyfield didn't have huge power but stopped most on an accumulation of accurate hurtful punches....

    Both Qawi and Douglas (the top of my head) went down to accurate counter punches. Evanders accuracy was insane, he fought a lot of durable, bigger blokes.

    Evander is one of my all time favourite fighters but I always felt his decent stoppage rate was due to, as You correctly say, his accuracy, conditioning and work rate rather than huge power.....

    That all adds up to him being an above average puncher though. Doesn't warrant a mention here, he got the attention of everyone he faced at his best at least :good

    I think Corbett is winning this for me.

    I wanted to find a naturally skills boxer ala Calderon. I think James J might just fit the bill

    I think with Evander he could actually land a big power punch, after all he put Bowe,Tyson Moorer and Mercer on the deck......as well as Buster Douglas and pole axed Adilson Rodriquez.

    Holyfield certainly wasn't "feather fisted".
