Ive also thought about that....could Cotto revenge his OTHER loss (obviosuly when this ones sorted) Hes more than capable of implementing a JMM type gameplan. Ive already stated before on numerous threads, Cotto looked better in the second half of the fight, ok so he didnt win anything, BUT he survived, whereas the first few rounds where he was trying to trade, he got his ass handed to him. I stated there and then, to beat pac, you have to fight on the back foot. The signs were there, Cotto, Clottey, Mosely, Then JMM.
COTTO!!! Calling it a late stoppage, round 10 on the fact that margos eye is gonna be ****ed and the ref will have to save him.
You just hating on Cotto and Puertoricans.... Dude according to you Yuri Foreman was going to put a clinic on Cotto :nono that's how much u ass knows about boxing!!
Cotto mid-late corner stoppage. Margo's punches clearly don't have the sting they once had and Cotto will not be nearly as affected by them. Will be a one-sided fight IMO.
I think the logical choice is Cotto (he's better in most aspects of boxing)... but I can't help but think Margarito is going to do the same damn thing to him. The Margarito who faced Pacquiao didn't seem that different from the Margarito who wrecked Cotto (just bigger and stronger)... Pacquiao is all wrong for Margarito, so I think Margarito looked worse than he would have against a more favorable style matchup. I think the additional weight will help Margarito more than Cotto. I predict Margarito wins again. I also predict blood... a lot of blood
I only see this level of nonsense from Pac fans trying to embellish the significance of the Margo victory. They looked nothing alike.
Hmm... I'm dead split in between, but might edge it to Margarito if he's willing to fight Martinez and Cotto not.
In what way was he completely, totally different? In the Pacquiao fight I saw a slow, subpar boxer, who cared more about throwing punches than avoiding getting hit (he happened to also be durable with a good chin). Wasn't this all true when he fought Cotto?
Anyone ever think he might ko his with a body shot? Would be something. I don't remember him throwing many body shots at all in their first one. Something he should definitely do this time.
Tony's far more vulnerable there. I thought Pac was gonna KO him early after landing a good body shot.
Hey, jack ass Harris....I think deep down inside your a Puerto Rician Lover....Punala de carne.....thats what on the menu...Cabron ! Guerra Cotto
