It`s clearer than before that, Andre Ward would not accept to fight Bute untill 2013.

    Reasons:

1.After winning Super Six he wouldn`t risk to lose his Ring position imediately though the magazine should not accord him the title until meets a probable undefeated Bute.

2.He`ll have two major wins ahead of Bute(Froch and Kessler) so he`ll claim Bute should recuperate the gap of big victories.Let`s recognize this would not be an unreasonable claim.

3.He`ll have the chance to have three belts fighting next autumn with Kessler. It`s hard to believe the Danish will be prevent of Stieglitz and added to this he will prefer too to meet Ward instead of Lucian.

4.We shouldn`t miss the age: Bute will make 32 before spring which could be considered almost "the top of the climb".We don`t know when will come the descend.

Sometimes we donn`t understand what we don`t want to accept.Ward`s trainer already stated the second reason.

same goes for Froch if he wins it.both will have the same speach,we fought the best, the cream of smw and bute fought noone.when Ward and Froch goes to sleep they check their closet for Bute, you know it !

I'm struggling with it as well. I think he is trying to say that he thinks Jesse Vargas is moving up to 168 and would beat them both.

    I could be wrong!

that is total bull****... first off the s6 was not the 6 best available, i hope u agree on this. secondly, what was ward's ranking before the s6, nothing close to bute even if bute does not have the major names yet, but we know why that is...he was not invited. obligate him to fight bute the same way he had to fight kessler and froch (of corse because of s6) if you want to claim to be the best in the division. i liked the fight's that got made because of the s6, i believe these are fights that would have bin difficulte to make without the tournament. i say extend the final from s6 to be obligated to face bute and then we will have a clear cut distinction on who is the best. anything else are excuses in my book. from what i have heard from meny people and even froch says it...it's an easy fight... so no ecuses, its an extra belt for your trophy room...come and get it ....if your not scared of corse:bbb

I could see Ward taking a 'stay busy' fight or two after he takes Froch to school. Considering the guy will have fought Kessler, Green, Bika, Abraham and Froch, I really couldn't blame him. Plus, if he beats Bute immediately after Froch, there's really no one else left at 168. I'm not sure he wants to step up to 175 so soon.

i see your point, one would be the most acceptable, at two fights, that says something else... but untill you face bute you cant claim to be the best. if u agree, i can live with your opinion.:good
