How do you rate Wlad's performance against David Haye?

i would love to see Haye KO Adamek in 8 rounds

I actually cannot believe that so many people rated that performance a 7 or 8 out of 10!!!!

What fight was you watching? If a super middleweight went the distance with a welterweight who couldnt throw a punch without falling off balance and leaving themselves wide open they would be ridiculed on this forum.

Wlad has a huge height reach and weight advantage over his opponent, struggles to land against a him even when he's stoof right in front of him with his hands down by his waist and refuses to make him pay for falling all over the place off balance and wide open to be hit - and he gets credit for that?

It was certainly Haye who prevented it becoming a great fight. In the twelfth when Haye landed a couple of shots Wlad went straight after him. Imagine that had happened throughout the fight?

 

no he didn't when haye landed that right hand wlad held on and the ref didn't break them up for some time.

Why didn't Haye knock glas jawed Wlad out when he could stand minute for minute in front of him with his hands down?

 

because haye is a tiny small man who punches wild.

 

Wlad's Haye fight reminded me a lot of Lewis' Tua fight. Another highly touted fight that was supposed to end with some fireworks but ended up being a huge letdown.

Having said that I always thought Lewis performed masterfully vs. Tua. A tactical masterpiece really. Tua made it easier for Lewis to show moments of brilliance in that he came forward and was ready to fight. Haye? Not so much.

Not sure what Wlad could have done dramatically differently. He's the bigger, slower man. He fights a small man who's crouching in the far distance, just waiting to counter. Wlad would have been stupid to run openly after Haye trying to take him out.

 

tss, i dont understand these nazi bull**** by the brits, its the same like in football, England vs Germany, when there is a game the sun & co come along with their nazi bla bla, why? I mean at the end you lose in penalty shooting or get the ass beaten with 4:1 like 2010. But i dont understand this, its not very funny..
