IF you were Marquez what stipulations would you require to accept a rematch with PAC?

best idea thus far... this FOR SURE would guarantee marquez a win

 

I honestly dont need to see a 4th fight.

If i was JMM I would take these fights and retire.

Morales - softer touch which would actually do great PPV numbers and probably take home close to 5 mil.
Khan - for the titles at 140. Probably take home 5 mil plus. Specially if made in England.
Rios - Great fight at either 135 or 140.
Guerrero - Call it a day and pass the torch on to a future ATG.

 

You could make whatever stipulations you wished.

Pac would not be bound by any of them.

You would have to keep in mind who the star is in this duet (By star, I mean $$$ drawing power).

And you would have to consider what 8-10 million USD would do for your retirement.

The fight would NOT be in Mexico, any more that it would be in the Philippines.

If not the US, then Canada. If not US judges, then Canadian, Australian or European.


It will probably happen, and probably after the Floyd Pac fight.

 

If you care to research, you will find out that contoversial fights in Mexico against Philippines, the result is in favor of the Mexicans. On the other hand, if there are controversial fights in the Philippines against Mexico, the favor is still for Mexico.

 

Call me crazy, but before fighting in US territiory, I actually would prefer a 4th fight to be fought in the Phillipines, with Filipino judge, a Mexican judge, and one neutral judge not based in the US.

I think Marquez would have a fairer shot to get a decision under this circumstance than having the fight fought in the US.

Pacquiao has been saying the boos for him at the MGM Grand were from the Mexican crowd. There were more than just Mexicans there, but anyways.......
I have been thinking to myself, how would a Pinoy arena have reacted to this previous decision had the 3rd fight been fought in the Phillipines???
......and I come away thinking that Pinoys would not have been jubiliant and accepting of that decision, and I think Pacquiao would have been booed in his own country had he had the audacity to tell them as he did at the MGM Grand, "I won clearly."

 

They can fight in Mars and Pac would still beat him up so yeah it doesnt matter where.

Notice how unconvincing Pacquiao sounded when asked about a 4th fight by Max Kellerman?

Pacquiao gave his usual scripted response, "anytime, anywhere."......but if you took notice, his head was bowed and he was so unconvincing in his gesture.

 

Kind of like the first Chavez Jr.-Vanda fight where Jr. got the win but you got the feel that that was either a draw or a close win for Vanda. It was not quite a robbery but Jr. should not have won. This was in Mexico with Chavez Sr. in attendance and when the scores were announced the crowd booed and threw bottles in to the ring at both Jr. and Sr.

People for some reason think every country is biased when it comes to their fighters but I have yet to see things like that happen in any other country that is not Mexico.

 

mexico, 10-15 million. I think 15 is good. I dont think he will get more than pac.

But arum wants this fight bad to avoid floyd so JMM has more bargaining power than ever before.

I dont think he should do it, he is 38 and had to work his ass off last time, I mean you see what he looked like and he won the fight and still didnt get it, How can he get motivated enough for the next fight when he thinks its near impossible to win? He came in soft against mayweather because even his own trainer was saying that he didnt think JMM could win so his motivation wasnt there. Pac on the other hand will want to win it decissively so he will be in better form next time while JMM will be declined and just doing it for money because arum threw enough at him. JMM doesnt really want the fight, they do, if he does it, it will only be for money
